This Privacy Policy describes how InterviewCoin ("InterviewCoin," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By using our Service, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. Beyond this Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.

We collect information about you from different sources and in various ways.

A. Information You Provide Directly to Us

We collect information you provide directly when you register, complete your profile, or create a company on our platform.

  • Account & Profile Information: When you create an account, we require your email address, password, and chosen role (e.g., "Individual" or "Company"). You can also voluntarily add more details to your profile, such as your name, username, physical address, and phone number.
  • Company Representative Information: If you register on behalf of a company, we collect information to verify your identity and your company's legitimacy. This includes your full name and job title, as well as the company's legal name, address, phone number, and website. To further aid in verification and for compliance purposes, we will also require US-based companies to provide their Employer Identification Number (EIN). For companies outside the US, providing a local tax or business identifier is optional. You must also affirm that you have the authority to act on the company's behalf.
  • Wallet & Financial Information: To use features like withdrawals, you will provide details for your external cryptocurrency wallets, which may include a wallet address and a destination tag.
  • Communications: If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you, such as your email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Log Data and Usage Information: Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information, such as your browser type, operating system, pages viewed, access times, and the page you visited before navigating to our Service.
  • Device Information for Security and Fraud Prevention: To maintain the integrity of our platform, prevent fraudulent activity such as the creation of multiple accounts, and protect your account from unauthorized access, we automatically collect certain device and browser information. This includes your IP address, User-Agent, and other browser characteristics. At specific high-risk moments, such as when you perform a password reset or a withdrawal, we may use a client-side script to collect additional browser attributes (such as screen resolution, timezone, and canvas rendering) to create a unique "device fingerprint." On other critical pages like registration and login, we rely only on the server-side data mentioned above. If you decline our fingerprinting cookie, we will still collect your IP address, User-Agent, and Accept-Language headers for security under our legitimate interest; however, no client-side script will run.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies to operate and administer our site, gather usage data on our site, and improve your experience. Specifically, we use a cookie named `device_fp_consent` to manage your agreement to our necessary security checks (see your "Security Settings" for how to withdraw consent). You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent, but some parts of our Service may not function properly without them.

C. Information from the XRP Ledger

  • Please be aware that your XRP Ledger wallet address and your transactions on the ledger (including NTV transfers) are public information and are not controlled by InterviewCoin. Anyone can see the balance and transaction history of any public XRPL address.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
  • Create and manage your user account.
  • Process transactions, including the distribution of NTV rewards from companies to applicants.
  • Protect the security and integrity of our Service, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity.
  • Communicate with you, including responding to your comments or questions and sending you service-related emails.
  • Comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share the information we collect in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting providers, cloud services, and security/fraud detection services.
  • As Required by Law: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the personal safety of users or the public.
  • Public Blockchain: As stated above, transactions involving NTV are publicly recorded on the XRP Ledger and are visible to anyone.

5. Our Legal Basis for Processing (for EEA Users)

If you are an individual in the European Economic Area (EEA), we collect and process information about you only where we have a legal basis for doing so under applicable EU laws. The legal bases depend on the Services you use and how you use them. This means we collect and use your information only where:

  • It is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party (e.g., to provide you with the core Service as described in our Terms of Service).
  • It satisfies a legitimate interest (which is not overridden by your data protection interests). We rely on legitimate interests for our essential security and fraud prevention checks, which involve processing your IP address and device characteristics. We have completed a formal assessment to ensure our interests are balanced with your rights. You can request a summary of this assessment by contacting us at privacy@interviewcoin.com.
  • You give us consent to do so for a specific purpose (such as for optional marketing communications).
  • We need to process your data to comply with a legal obligation.

6. Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the security of your information. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%.

We retain personal information we collect from you for as long as you have an open account with us or as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Specifically for the device fingerprint data collected for security and fraud prevention, we automatically purge these records after **30 days** from the last time a device was seen.

7. Your Data Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, update, or request erasure of your personal information. Please note that due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology, we cannot erase or alter transaction data that has been recorded on the XRP Ledger.

You can manage your consent for our enhanced, browser-based security checks at any time from your Security Settings page within your user profile. 8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
